Phelps wanted something light for the loonie races but strong enough for his aggressive riding style. We combined the Sakura rear triangle tubeset and the Samurai front to make this. Is it a new model? Maybe.
Phelps wanted the option of running Hammershmidt on trail days, so we included the guides on the downtube and the ISCG tab for that. We dont run straight housing, particularly on the lighter frames because it does actually shift better, and its lighter. I know these are small differences but the result of any complete bike is the sum of all the little details. If its wet, your going to have to change up the line a little more often...but then its only about 1/3 of the housing to buy.
great. great. great. please make sure to keep the iscg mount as a standart. This is what I miss the most on my Sakura.
And speaking of some improvement in modell varity - a singlespeed ready Sakura would still be great. Please have first and second look on the soulcraft-sliders and show them to Mr. Truelove...
Oh. I´ld love to ride a light yet solid sakura ss and avery similar more stout, yet reasonable light trailbike like the samui with hammerschnitzel...I´m just not Jinya enough to need something burlier ;-) cheers b.asti

want!
Wow! Why those cable guides on the down tube? Different routing? (BTW: why don't you go with full cable routing on your frames?)
